Almost anyone can have these treatments. At your initial consultation, you will be asked a series of health and medical questions. These questions are designed to identify whether there are any reasons why the treatment unsuitable for you.

Before any treatment commences, it is essential to do a patch test. We will give you a sample of any products we plan to use, so that you can do a patch test between 24-48 hours before your treatment.

Any makeup that cannot be washed off, is regarded as 'permanent'. However, microblading and micropigmentation does not last for ever. On average, it lasts for 18 months.

Permanent makeup is where a pigment is implanted into the skin with a handheld device. Over time, the molecules in the pigment are pushed out of the skin, causing it to fade and disappear.

A tattoo is implanted into a deeper layer of skin, using an ink, and will not be pushed out of the skin like the larger pigment molecules in permanent makeup. The colour in a tattoo may fade, but the tattoo will not disappear without specialist treatment to remove it.

After the initial treatment, it is important to return for a 'top-up' appointment. This should take place 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment.

Once you have had the top-up, you should expect the treatment to last for up to 12-18 months, depending on your skin type and beauty regime.

Sun exposure and treatments such as chemical peels, can cause treatments to fade quicker.

Within 3-5 days the surface of your skin should be healing. However the deeper layers of the skin take approximately 4 weeks to heal.

During the healing process it is normal for the colour to appear to fade, and then it will come back again - so don't be alarmed by these changes.

No - we advise you to wait for up to 5 days before exercising, to avoid getting sweat and dirt into the treated area.

All treatments can cause the skin to temporarily redden and possibly swell. We would not recommend that you make any social plans or go back to the office - however it should not be a problem to work from home afterwards.

All treatments are bespoke. There is no standard eyebrow - everyone's face is unique. We will map out your face to create an outline for your brows before we start. We do the same for lips and eyeliner.

Before we start the treatment, you will have the chance to check that you are happy with the shape of the brows / eyeliner / lips, as well as the colour that will be used.

You will have the chance to see the outline of your brows before the treatment starts. You will also be able to see the colour we suggest for you, to be sure you are happy with it.

It is very important to note that immediately after treatment the colour can seem darker. During the healing process this colour will gently fade to a softer version of the colour.

We want our clients to feel comfortable throughout the process, so we encourage our clients to purchase a topical pre-numbing cream from their pharmacy. These can be very effective and many clients feel nothing at all.

Yes. Many people loose hair as they get older, and menopausal women can find that their eyebrows get very thin. Microblading or micropigmentation is a great way to re-define brows that have become thinner.

We recommend you allow 2 - 2.5 hours for any treatment. It is not a treatment that we would wish to rush.

Until the initial skin healing has happened, we advise you not to use any cosmetic or skin products, other than those specifically designed for tattoos. It is therefore not possible to use sun screen - and we therefore advise you to wear a hat or sunglasses to protect the area from the sun.

We would advise avoiding the sun for the first month. It is important to note that sun exposure can fade the pigment.

No. Until the skin has healed, we advise against using makeup, as there is a risk of causing infection.

Wherever possible, we would recommend that you have your eyebrows treated before starting your chemotherapy - subject to a doctor's letter of approval.

Whilst it is possible to have treatment post-chemotherapy, we would ask anyone receiving treatment of this kind to get permission from their doctor, as some medications can cause complications.

If you would like your eyebrows to look natural, we will use a technique to create a hair stroke effect.

Some clients request an ombre effect, which is a light shading, such as when you use an eyebrow pencil, which can be combined with hair strokes.

Whether you have a hair stroke effect, or shaded look is down to your personal choice.

Whether your eyebrows have been over-plucked or have grown thinner with age, they can be made to look fuller with either microblading or micropigmentation.
